Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023 to be repealed

Details of the government's intention to repeal the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023.

The government has today (6 August 2024), announced that the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023 will be repealed – this will be formally enacted through the forthcoming Employment Rights Bill which will be introduced within the first 100 days of the new government.

To note: this will explicitly cover the ambulance minimum service regulations.
