Update on the employment rights bill passage through parliament
Details of the government's response to each of the recent employment rights bill consultations including next steps.
On 4 March 2025 the government announced various amendments to the employment rights bill, including the four consultations that NHS Employers responded to on behalf of employers.

Next steps:
This package represents the first phase of formal public consultations on how best to put the government's plans into practice. They will continue to go through the various parliamentary processes.
