International Nurses Day 2024

International Nurses Day is a day to celebrate the valuable work nurses do everyday. International Nurses Day takes place on the birthday of Florence Nightingale’s. This year, the theme is Our nurses, our future, the economic power of care.

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) is promoting a number of events taking place between 10 May and 14 May to honour and celebrate all nurses and their associations. 

The International Confederation of Nurses (ICN) is hosting a virtual event on 10 May and will focus on this year's theme.
