International Midwives Day 2024

International Midwives Day is a day to celebrate and highlight all of the valuable work midwives do everyday. This year, the theme is Midwives: A vital climate solution. 

The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) will be hosting a virtual event on Thursday 2 May to honour midwives and their associations. 

The International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) is also hosting a virtual event on Monday 6 May and will focus on the topic ‘Midwives: the workforce we need for a warming world’.
