The terms and conditions of service set out in the handbook apply in full to all staff directly employed by NHS organisations, except very senior managers and staff within the remit of the Doctors’ and Dentists’ Review Body.
Below is a list of archived handbooks and relevant amendments to the terms and conditions for these staff.
Previous versions of the handbook can be found below. Records of amendments give details of changes to the handbook since it was first published in December 2004.
More recently changes are detailed by the amendment tables within pay and terms and conditions advisory notices.
