Safwan Chowdhury

Safwan supports the implementation of the national engagement services' communications and engagement strategy across all networks and Social Partnership Forums (SPFs). Safwan enables the team to enhance the delivery of meetings and events regionally and nationally by ensuring high-quality engagement activity through evaluation.

Prior to his role with us, Safwan worked at the NHS Confederation where he was an engagement support officer covering the South East and South West. During his time there he worked with various stakeholders such as chief executives of trusts across the South of England, place leaders and government departments. 

Safwan has BSc in public health from the University of East London where his focus was on the wider determinants of health as well as reducing inequalities at a global, national and local level.
