Lee Balch

Lee is the assistant director of engagement for the Midlands and East of England. His role is working in partnership with senior HR directors/chief people officers and trade-union colleagues to deliver high-quality networks to share insight, intelligence, support learning and best practice.

Lee has a background of working with NHS national stakeholders, human resources directors and regional trade union reps to design, produce and draw insights from regional networks and associated activities. He has worked with chief executives, chairs and government departments to influence broader NHS health policy. Since 2002, he has worked in the NHS in various communications, marketing, patient and public involvement and engagement roles, including at a London hospital and NHS Careers.

Lee has a level 5 professional diploma in HR management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a level 6 professional diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
