Save the date for SAS Week 2025

Join us to celebrate #SASWeek25 from 29 September to 3 October 2025.

14 March 2025

This year #SASWeek25 is being celebrated from 29 September to 3 October 2025.

SAS Week provides the opportunity for employers and national stakeholders to celebrate the specialty, associate specialist, and specialist (SAS) doctor workforce.

Now in its fourth year, the aim of SAS Week is to highlight the impact and showcase the significant contributions of SAS doctors. In partnership with the British Medical Association (BMA), the week will have webinars for employers and SAS doctors to attend, new case studies to share learning from NHS organisations across the UK, reminders of the guidance already available to support you employ and develop this workforce.

SAS week provides the opportunity to present developments and share any examples of good practice within your organisation. We invite national stakeholders, employers and SAS doctors to contribute to SAS week by:

  • Sharing experiences: contact us to arrange a case study or blog highlighting your work and achievements.
  • Participating in webinars: collaborate with us leading webinars on topics relevant to the week with the opportunity to join panel discussions, sharing insights and expertise with the SAS doctor community.
  • Support the event: help us spread the word and encourage participation from colleagues and peers at a national and local level.

If you would like to feature in SAS week, please email the medical workforce team.
