SAS doctors vote in favour of the government’s pay offer

The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that its SAS doctors have voted in favour of the revised offer.

18 June 2024

Today (18 June 2024), the BMA has reported a majority yes vote with 79.3 per cent of respondents voting to accept the terms.

The offer has been designed to address the imbalance between old and new contracts, speed up the delivery of some of the key objectives of the 2021 deal and encourage more SAS doctors to take up new contracts.
