Nursing and midwifery job profile review (band 7 and above)
The NHS Staff Council's Job Evaluation Group (JEG) is consulting on revised national job matching profiles for bands 7 and above nursing and midwifery roles.
On the whole, the changes being suggested to the profiles are additional wording in the non-bold rationales for the factor levels to give more current and accurate examples, along with refining the language of the factor levels to avoid confusion.
In addition, a new profile for midwifery at band 8a-b is also proposed.
All amendments have been informed by the evidence received from job holders and employing organisations.
