Agenda for change mileage reimbursement rates review - November 2024
In accordance with the process set out in the NHS TCS Handbook, the November 2024 review of mileage reimbursement rates has been undertaken.
The November 2024 milage reimbursement rates have now been reviewed and no further updates to the mileage rates will be made this time.
Section 17 and Annex 12 of the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service (TCS) Handbook set out the reimbursement rates for employees who use their personal vehicle to carry out their work duties.
As set out in NHS TCS Handbook, mileage reimbursement rates are reviewed twice a year. This is done in April and November, and allows the latest costs of fuel to be incorporated into the calculation.
The next review will be undertaken in April 2025.
