Our fourth virtual workforce supply conference will take place on Monday 30 September 2024, bringing together professionals from the health and care sector working in HR, workforce, widening participation, workforce planning, education, training and organisational development.
In 2023, the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan was published and set out a number of ambitions for the future of the NHS workforce. The conference aims to help employers realise these ambitions by transforming the healthcare workforce through training, retaining, and reforming. We will explore how we can work towards the goals set out in the plan and reaffirm that we are in this together. Our speakers will share a wealth of good practice to inspire you to implement effective initiatives in your workforce.
This thought-provoking event features insightful presentations and panel discussions across a number of different topics:
- NHS Long Term Workforce Plan – putting funding into practice
- System placement approaches
- The use of emerging roles - Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Physician Associates
- The importance of apprenticeships to the health and care sector
- Career development to aid retention of our workforce
- Stay and Thrive – international recruitment and retention
- Recruiting from the Armed Forces community
- Scaling up T Level industry placements.
