2022 pay and TCS advisory notice

• Pay scales for the financial year 2022/23 have been updated to reflect the minimum £1400 payment to all pay points. This consolidated payment is effective from 1 April 2022.

• Interim pay scales for the period 1 April to 4 August 2022 inclusive (previously available in Annex 2) have been archived into Annex 3.

• The minimum and maximum rates have been uplifted and the updates rates can be found in Table 1. This change is effective from 1 April 2022.

• England employers updated to include Integrated Care Boards as an NHS Employer.

• The spot salary of Band 1 and the entry point of Band 2 have been amended to ensure compliance with the National Living Wage (for further detail, refer to the NHS Staff Council statement).
• Interim details relating to the continuation of the Bands 8-9 consolidated payment are provided. 

• Pay scales for the period 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 inclusive (previously available in Annex 2) have been archived in to Annex 3.
