Jamie Parker

Jamie started his career in Financial Services and eventually moved into a learning and development role.  He then worked for a range of private sector organisations, before a spell at Motability, where he really liked their values and decided, with encouragement from his wife, a nurse, to join the NHS – working at Gloucestershire hospitals, where he discovered OD and DoOD and found his calling.  In 2015 he joined NHS Blood and Transplant, where he initially worked as an OD practitioner, before becoming Head of OD and then led the function covering Digital Learning, Library, Apprenticeships, Engagement, Leadership development and OD.  Last year he decided to concentrate on his OD work and returned to an OD practitioner role.
