Gordon Benson

Gordon leads our programmes on medical pay and workforce at NHS Employers, overseeing our work with national medical pay, terms and conditions and maintenance of our relationships with national medical trades unions.

He joined NHS Employers in 2008, and since then, Gordon has worked across areas such as NHS Jobs, education and training, health visiting recruitment and retention, newly qualified paramedic development, Agenda for Change negotiations, pensions and total reward. He has a background in HR, specialising in recruitment across a variety of industries.
