Alice Sorby

Director of Employment Relations at the Royal College of Midwives and NHS Staff Council EDIG staff-side chair

Alice has been a trade union official for twelve years and staff-side chair of the NHS Staff Council's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group (EDIG) since 2018. She represents the Royal College of Midwives on the NHS Staff Council.

Following the 2018 Agenda for Change Framework Agreement, Alice was the trade union lead on the introduction of Shared Parental Leave provisions in the Agenda for Change Handbook. Alice is currently working towards her Master of Laws (LLM) in employment law and is focusing on ethnicity pay gaps for her dissertation.
