Increases to visa fees announced

Visa fee increases announced by the Home Office on 20 March 2025 will come into effect on 9 April 2025.
These changes will see immigration and nationality fees increase by 7 per cent.
As of 9 April 2025, the following fees will come into effect:
Applications made outside of the UK | Applications made in the UK | |
Skilled Worker Visa – up to three years | £769 | £885 |
Skilled Worker Visa – three years or more | £1,519 | £1,751 |
Health and Care Visa – up to three years | £304 | £304 |
Health and Care Visa – three years or more | £590 | £590 |
Also from 9 April, the cost of a Certificate of Sponsorship will increase to £525 from £239. This will apply to new work visas as well as renewals.
Increases to other fees, such as a Skilled Worker Visas and Health and Care Visas for a job on the Immigration Salary List as well as Worker Sponsor Licence fee, can be found on the GOV.UK website.
