Get your Silver or Gold ERS Award in 2025
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support the Armed Forces Community and inspire others to do the same. The award has three levels bronze, silver, and gold. All levels require organisations to show a deep commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and ensure their policies and practices reflect the core values of the Armed Forces community.
Bronze
To achieve your Bronze Award your organisation simply needs to sign the Covenant at any point in the year. Find out more about the Covenant and how signing can benefit your organisation and the Armed Forces community on the Armed Forces Covenant website.
Silver
To be eligible for the Silver Award you must have achieved bronze level.
Nominations open 8 January 2025 and close 23 April 2025.
Gold
Expression of Interest open 1 December 2024 and close 13 February 2025.
Nominations open 8 January 2025 and close 12 March 2025.
