Core managers: developing inclusive workplaces programme
This free programme is open to all NHS health and care managers and supervisors, not just those based in London. There are a number of different courses available, these are delivered through a combination of online learning, self-reflection and assessments.
The courses are flexible, allowing participants to learn at their own pace, whilst the training is interactive and allows participants to engage and learn alongside others throughout.
- Course 1: Inclusive Leadership in Health and Care
Develop inclusive and compassionate leadership skills to ensure diversity and equality in the health and care industry. Learners should complete this course before any others in the programme. - Course 2: Creating a Psychological Contract
Harness your inclusive leadership skills to create and maintain good psychological contracts in any healthcare facility. - Course 3: Noticing and Challenging Microaggressions
Use your inclusive leadership skills to notice and challenge microaggressions in the workplace. - Course 4: Effective Allyship
Understand the importance of allyship, what an ally is and how allyship can lead to a positive culture change and help you become a more inclusive and compassionate leader and manager. - Course 5: Increasing Disability Positivity.
This course will enable participants to create a disability positive culture to empower all team members to work effectively and succeed in their role.
