Ethical recruiters list

This list is sorted by name, professionals supplied, framework and organisation type.
Recruitment organisations, agencies or collaborations that have successfully applied to the Ethical Recruiters List will receive a letter confirming this and will be added to the list in the next monthly update.
Use the search function to find a recruitment organisation, agency, collaboration, or profession, whether an agency is on an approved framework - Health Trust Europe (HTE) or NHS Workforce Alliance (NHS WA) - or click on the table headers to sort by column A-Z.
NHS Employers does not provide organisations, agencies or collaborations with acquiring business and cannot advise on individual queries or processes.
10 March 2025 - The Ethical Recruiters List has been updated.
One organisation have been removed from the list this month, as they have chosen themselves to come off the list or they have been removed following the outcome of an independent process under the Code of Practice.
We would like to remind all employers to check the Ethical Recruiters List every time you work with a recruitment organisation to make sure they remain on the list.
These recruitment organisations, agencies or collaborations operate in accordance with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) revised Code of Practice (published 27 March 2025) for the international recruitment of health and social care professionals.
Following the update to the Code of Practice published on 27 March 2025, NHS Employers has contacted organisations on the Ethical Recruiters List to reaffirm their commitment to the updated Code. The deadline for reaffirmation is 1 May 2025. We will update the Ethical Recruiters List following this deadline. Only organisation that reaffirm their commitment to the Code will remain on the list after this date. |
Health and social care employing organisations (including the NHS and private providers of health and social care services) are urged to only use recruitment organisations, agencies or collaborations which appear on this list, although inclusion on the list does not imply that they belong to a group that are either preferred suppliers or recommended by NHS Employers or the DHSC.
Once an organisation has successfully applied to the Code, applications can then be made to an approved framework. NHS organisations are strongly recommended to engage with an approved framework to contract any requirements for the international recruitment of healthcare professionals. Each framework agreement will have its own unique terms, specifications, commercial structure and added value benefits, so please engage with the relevant parties to ensure that you get the support you need to support your overseas recruitment and successful outcomes.
Please note: The NHS Employers organisation name and logo are protected and recruitment organisations, agencies, and collaborations are not permitted to use it on any of their materials.
