Reward in the NHS: maximising NHS reward and improving culture
Speakers
Following the success of our 2023 event, NHS Employers is returning to King’s House Conference Centre in central Manchester for its Reward in the NHS 2025 event.
The event is free to attend and is aimed at those with a responsibility for reward in NHS organisations.
The event will once again bring together NHS decision makers, budget holders and influencers to hear the latest thinking, share good practice and equip delegates with innovative and practical reward information to take back into their own organisations to help them enhance existing resources within their total reward offer for greater impact in the face of continued workforce challenges.
We are currently building an exciting agenda and we will be announcing more information soon.
Speakers
Adam Kirton, Assistant Director of Workforce, Pay, Policy and Reward, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Adam will be talking about budget-busting benefits and how organisations can maximise existing employee benefits on a shoestring budget.
Claire Hovey, Director of Behavioural Science, Acuity
In this session Claire will talk about how we can use behavioural science to generate effective communications specifically for the NHS Pension Scheme.
Lindsey Clements, Head of Employee Experience, Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Lindsey will be running a break out session that will focus on how following a merger the newly created trust bought together its varying recognition methods and built a new robust recognition strategy on a budget.
Dr Billy Palmer, Senior Fellow, Nuffield Trust
The generation game: understanding changing career behaviours in NHS staff. In this session Billy will look at how an individual’s needs vary at different stages of their career and how expectations change over time. He will draw on some general trends and recent analysis of the NHS staff survey, to explore the impact these issues have on recruitment, retention and satisfaction, with some ideas on how the NHS will need to adapt to make a health care career more attractive and keep staff in the service for longer.
More speakers and sessions will be announced soon.
