Trusts inspired to use social media to recruit

Following our recent workforce supply event, a number of trusts have actively engaged with the development of their social media profiles to help recruit in to the NHS.

The workshop, held on Friday 10 March in Horizon, was designed to help recruitment leads consider how social media can be used to create or strengthen an organisation's brand and attract talent. Around 50 delegates spent the day finding out how to make more use of social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to recruit talent. 

Feedback was incredibly positive and as a result, a colleague from Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (SRFT) will be sharing how the trust develops its recruitment presence on social media.
