Our questions and answers page for Tier 2 immigration and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process for overseas staff has been updated with frequently asked questions from employers.

The latest questions mostly focus around changes to the Objective Structured Clincial Exam (OSCE), which is the exam internationally recruited nurses and midwives take to achieve full NMC registration in the UK.

The main points to note are:
  • The University of Northampton will move to a larger OSCE test venue on 20 March 2017 - this will increase the capacity for OSCE tests.
  • Oxford Brookes University now provide an OSCE test venue in two locations (Oxford and Swindon)
