The work that has been done by flu teams this year has not gone unnoticed. Philip Dunne, Minister of State for Health, and Nicola Blackwood, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health and Innovation, have written a thank you letter for flu fighter teams and chief executives in NHS trusts, who have helped to increase uptake for flu vaccinations. They both consider the increase in the number of frontline healthcare workers vaccinated "a significant achievement for which you should be rightly proud of."

We would also like to congratulate all the staff and teams for their hard work to increase the number of flu vaccinations for frontline healthcare workers. Without your innovation, determination and focus, we would never have have been able to achieve this record high uptake before the season has ended.

Well done!
