Female leaders across the NHS are invited to join HSJ Women Leaders Network and NHS Leadership Academy for a tweet chat exploring the value of mentoring and coaching.
Dr Helen Woolnough, senior lecturer and researcher, women's leadership, mentoring and psychology, Manchester Metropolitan University, Beverley Powell, leadership associate, Yorkshire and Humber leadership academy, Health Education England, and Charmaine Kwame, national programme lead for coaching and mentoring, NHS Leadership Academy, will be part of a panel leading the discussion.
The chat is intended to allow participants to share practical tips and guidance on mentoring and coaching for women leaders across the NHS and the wider healthcare system, while providing a virtual networking opportunity for women leaders and helping to signpost to appropriate sources of support, courses, networks etc.
We will be looking at:
- mentoring or coaching – what’s right for you?
- how to find the right mentor or coach
- what to expect from your first session
- how can you best support others
- and much, much more.
You can follow the live online discussion and ask questions between 8pm - 9pm on Tuesday 28 February by using #nhswomen and by tweeting to @HSJWomenLeaders
