Employers can now register with the digital apprenticeship service (DAS) in preparation for the launch of the apprenticeship levy on 6 April 2017.
Large employers are encouraged to sign up and register for the DAS, which will operate in a similar way to online banking. The service will enable employers to access money paid under the levy, monitor how much they are spending on apprenticeships, and help with the financial management of their programmes.
To set up an account employers must have:
- government gateway login details for the PAYE schemes they want to include in their account
- details for each organisation that will be making an agreement with a training provider for apprenticeship training.
Details on how to register can be found at apprenticeship service register
