A new case study has been developed about London Ambulance Service's approach to tackling bullying in the workplace.
In 2015, the organisation became the first ambulance trust to be placed in special measures by the Care Quality Commission. The trust took immediate action and recruited a bullying and harassment specialist to develop a phased action plan. Now, progress is reported on a monthly basis to the non-executive director, which keeps resource, energy and focus on initiating cultural changes throughout the organisation.
Read the case study to find out how the trust engaged with staff from different areas of the organisation to work together, break down barriers and make tackling bullying in the workplace everybody’s business.
