This webinar is part of the new central support service set up to help GP practices meet their contractual and associated non-contractual obligations in order to offer GP trainees terms and conditions that are consistent with the 2016 junior doctors’ contract.

Topics covered in the webinar include: 

  • how to correctly calculate salary details
  • how to roster working hours to meet safety requirements
  • how to design and issue fit-for-purpose work schedules
  • how to respond appropriately to exception reporting
  • appointment of a guardian of safe working hours.
The webinar will take place on 28 July between 11am and 12pm. 

Who should attend
Practice managers in employing GP practices.

The session will be run by Gareth Jones, Assistant Director of Workforce, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, and Spencer McKee, Assistant Director of HR, St Helens & Knowsley NHS Trust.
