For the first time, we are bringing together HR directors from the NHS and the higher education (HE) sector to discuss positive ways of responding to the current and future workforce challenges around Brexit. We are running the event on two dates, in the South and North, to ensure that HR leaders across the country can connect, share thinking, and discuss positive actions that we can take now, and in the future.
This event will take place in London on 22 May. Book a place at the Leeds event on 5 June via our web page.
The event will be hosted by the chief executive of NHS Employers, Daniel Mortimer, and the chief executive of Universities and Colleges Employers Association, Helen Fairfoul.
Delegates will learn about the practical steps being taken by colleagues across both sectors to respond to the impact and current uncertainty created by the vote to leave the EU. Together, we will consider future actions that can be taken on shared employment challenges including funding, research, recruitment and retention.
The event will include:
- key insights and latest perspectives from Brussels and the UK
- good practice examples of HE establishments and NHS employers working together
- roundtable discussions to share learning, formulate plans and establish opportunities for joint working.

The conference is priced at £149 + VAT
