Networking events are a prominent feature of the HSJ Women Leaders Network - we profile key speakers that are engaging, motivating and inspirational.
We also like to include an interactive workshop segment to our events which allows the members to have a participatory role and learn techniques that they can take back to the workplace.
While most of our previous events have been held in the capital, we're not London-centric and aim to be inclusive by taking our events to different regions across the country - as we know our members represent a good geographical spread. We have future events planned for both Leeds and Liverpool and more major cities across England in due course.
Our next event: The new vision of NHS leadership, 13 June, Liverpool
Join us for our next free network event for female leaders on 13 June in Liverpool. Representing a wide portfolio of services including community, mental health, learning disabilities, acute, and a range of specialist services, we will be hearing from five CEOs on their experiences as new senior leaders, how they got there, and what they aim to do differently to be truly inclusive leaders.
The panel will feature:
- Samantha Allen, Chief Executive, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
- Steve McManus, Chief Executive, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust
- Navina Evans, Chief Executive, East London NHS Foundation Trust
- Sara Munro, Chief Executive, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
- Cara Charles-Barks, Chief Executive, Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust
We've held seven events since we launched the network in September 2015, that have ranged in both format and theme.
